May, the month of Mary and our Rosary Walk
May is the height of spring—a season associated with new life, beauty, and growth. Because Mary is honored as the spiritual Mother who brought Christ into the world, she has long been linked to this flourishing season. Just as nature blooms in May, Catholics see in Mary the one through whom salvation first blossomed.
As we enter May, the Month of Mary, we warmly invite you to join us for a Rosary Walk around our church here in Tremont. Together, we will walk prayerfully around the church grounds, pausing at five small shrines dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and meditating on the five mysteries of the Rosary.
We will begin on May 1 and conclude on May 31 with a beautiful candlelit procession, followed by light refreshments on the church lawn.
All are welcome to join me each day at 6:00 p.m., except on Tuesdays, when we will gather at 6:30 p.m. due to the 6:00 p.m. Mass.
